It is usually completely painless.  The needles are hair-thin and inserted gently, very superficially. Some sensations may be felt such as an electrical pulsing, tingling, and warmth.

Are the needles sterile?

Each needle is sterile, disposable, and single-use.

How many treatments will I need?

If an issues is chronic then the amount of treatments will depend on many factors. Lifestyle, repetitive behaviors, and diet will all be factors. Usually between 6 to 12 treatments for chronic issues.

If an issue is acute or due to trauma then 3 to 6 treatments may bring significant improvements.

How long is a treatment?

Usually the initial treatment is 1 1/2 hours and a follow-up session is 1 hour.
